BENEFIT FOR THE ALESHIRES
BENEFIT FOR THE ALESHIRES
WHEN: March 23rd starting at 10am
WHERE: Fellowship Hall
Pastor Ben has recently shared that he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He has stepped down from his role at RiverTree so that he and his family can move back to California to be near family as he fights the battle there.
We are deeply saddened by this. Ben has done an excellent job for us. He and his family have been such an incredible blessing to our church. To help them with this transition, we will be holding a benefit dinner after both services on Sunday, March 23rd. Our hope is to at least help cover all of the moving costs and help them cover living expenses for the next several months. Checks can be written to Ben Aleshire. If you are not able to attend the benefit, but would like to give to support them, you can drop your donations off at the church (Tue-Fri, 8:30am - 5pm) or mail them to the church (601 N Sanborn Blvd - Mitchell, SD 57301).
There will also be a table at the benefit devoted to celebrating a baby shower as they are expecting a baby boy by mid-August. You can give money gifts or gift cards for items on their registry (Walmart & Amazon). Please do not bring gifts other than this as we want to avoid adding to the things they have to move.
