5 Days of Prayer for Thrive Camp

Monday: Psalms 121: I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm - He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Praying this over the students, for safe travels and peace for those uneasy about leaving home, that they would know that it is the maker of the heaven and earth who watches over them, and find peace in his presence.

TuesdayEphesians 1:17-19a “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Glorious Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people and His incomparably great power for the one who believes.”

Echoing the prayers of Paul for the Ephesian Christians, we pray that the students would be able to know God better and experience God move in and around them.

Wednesday: Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer.”

We pray today that the students would continue pursuing God, and also grow in fellowship together, building Christ-centered friendships as they chase after God together.

ThursdayMatthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Today, we pray that the students would unload their burdens, whatever may be holding them back, that they would lay everything down at the feet of Jesus and finding rest in Christ.

FridayActs 22:15 "You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.”

Today we pray both for safe travels back, but also that this week wouldn’t be just another spiritual high, but that they would continue living changed from this week, and that they would carry their testimonies from this place both in their words and actions.
